Experiments
Jitter, disintegration, pixelation and scroll-linked reveals — each isolated as a BLIP-themed demo. Scroll slowly: the scroll-linked ones scrub both ways.
RGB-split ghosts + slice displacement fire on an offset beat. CSS-only, always on. The raster cousin of the headline glitch.
Canvas re-samples the image from chunky blocks to sharp as it reaches centre, and re-pixelates as it leaves. Scroll-linked.
The frame is shattered into a grid of tiles; they scatter, rotate and fade at the edges of the viewport and snap back together at centre. Scroll-linked.
Scanlines, a rolling brightness bar, chroma fringe and a low flicker. CSS-only, always on.
Blur → sharp and greyscale → colour, tied to scroll position. Peaks at centre. Scroll-linked.
Venetian slats close over the image and open as it centres. Scroll-linked.
The frame is cut into thin lines that sit displaced (left behind), then each snaps back on its own threshold as you scroll to centre — a staggered glitch-join rather than a single clean align. Scroll-linked.
